Push For 'Alyssa's Law' In Florida

UPDATE:  Alyssa's Law was passed in Florida in June 2020 by Governor Ron DeSantis.  DeSantis signs Alyssa’s Law to require panic alarms in Florida schools.  Beginning with the 2021-22 school year, school staff at each Florida public school, including charter schools, will be required to activate a mobile panic alert system, known as “Alyssa’s Alert, Alyssa’s Law”
